Constitutional Amendments Election

Kimberlee Says: “Be an informed voter!”

Go to the Polls Informed, Not Influenced

The 17 Constitutional Amendments

I am a staunch advocate of looking into what’s on the ballot before heading to the polls. It is important that you understand what you’re voting for! You can seek out opinions and solicit advice, but the final choice is yours and yours alone.

For this Constitutional Election, remember that if these pass they amend the Texas Constitution. Ask yourself, can this be implemented in another legal way? Laws perhaps? Does this need to be a constitutional amendment? Who would benefit the most if this passes? What could be the reasoning behind changing the constitution? Do the proponents of these amendments have my best interest at heart? What about my neighbors? And school children? And the environment…and so on and so forth.

Remember your opposition to an amendment does not equal your opposition to the cause. There could very well be a better way than changing the constitution.

Now, go forth and get yourself informed!
